Join the Pact is a traveling festival for high school students to promote & encourage the discussion for mental health issues. The event is meant to bring peers together to show they aren’t alone in their struggle. The goal is to create a "pact" among the students to move forward in a positive light to beat the mental health crisis and ask for help. Your courageous act of speaking out can lead to saving someone else.

Join the Pact festival was based on a poster designed for the the "Let Your Voice Be Heard!" Poster Competition at Fort Hays State University that is done to bring perspective and conversation around topics that are issues in our world today. The concept of this poster was to portray the topic of suicide that is showcases the severity and the feeling of “no escape.” In our society we are expected to obtain numerous feats while running from negative mental health.
