OH HEY, It’s ME RILEY
Who am I? Well you see that is a tough question. Sometimes it depends on the day, and other times it can be tough to land on a simple explanation. So, let’s just start with the basics. I received my BFA in graphic design from Fort Hays State University where I also played collegiate volleyball. Growing up I was extremely competitive and I was motivated to impress under pressure. Although that showed up mainly in sports, I found the same fulfillment when I discovered design. Even though I only compete with myself, I fell in love with the possibilities and potential of a blank canvas.
As a designer, you get to have so much influence on the way people think and feel about the world around them. I am inspired by the challenges to discover new approaches that go beyond the boundaries of expectations. I approach design through the lens of many roles. You get to be the creator, client, and consumer to create the best work. I value seeing the big picture of a project with the goal of a “wow, that was smart” response. My weakness of not having one area of mastery is also my greatest strength and there are no limits on what you can learn.
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16
Outside of designing
Although designers are known for working around the clock, I like to find time to explore all my other passions. A balanced lifestyle keeps my work at it’s best and spending time doing the things I love keeps me inspired. With that being said, I would say I enjoy the simple things and finding ways to challenge myself. Trying something new is something I am
always down for but ultimately spending time with the people in my life is what I value most. All the things I love you can find below that show you a glimpse of me.
My people and my rocks. They truly are what keep me going everyday. I feel like the most lucky girl on Earth to be surrounded by the best people.

Faith
The most important thing to me is my relationship with Jesus! Everything I do, I strive to do for the glory of God!
This world is beautiful and I want to see it all. Although the ocean is truly my favorite destination, I love to experience different places. Fingers crossed Europe is my next vacation.

My Dog
My parents finally caved after 19 years and got a family dog. He may have bad hips and barks at everything, but I am obsessed with him.
Volleyball
Although retired, volleyball has always been a big part of my life. I love the sport so much and learned so many valuable lessons that are essential to my character today.
I like to say I workout because it is good for my body, but I also think it keeps me mentally insane. Doing hard things helps me in all areas of life.
Health & Fitness
Friends
Their souls are as beautiful and as sweet as flowers. Although they aren’t pictured, I am so thankful to have some of the best friends in my life.
Coffee
My daily dose of happiness. It is best paired with a little pastry and some good company. I look forward to my hot coffee in my favorite mug every morning with some bible study time.
My favorite hobby is eating. I love to try new restaurants and often my travel plans revolve around food. I am always willing to hear your food recommendations!

SEE THE GOOD & BE KIND
Above all I value kindness and goodness in the world. Although I am flawed, I believe in doing our best as humans to be the light for each other. We all have wonderful God given gifts and I want to use mine to make a difference in the world and lift others up.
